In Septemeber 2025 an Aid container was dispatched from Operation Sunshine

sent a container from Capel le Ferne Folkestone Kent.

The good news is....

.... on Tuesday 10th February 2026, Operation Sunshine aid container has finally arrived safely in Zambia..!

A message from Grace

We gave a lot of bedding to the University Teaching Hospital Mothers Shelter. There was a big need for beddings here as most of the mothers came with their patients who were brought in from different parts of Zambia by Ambulances to the main hospital and they did not even come with any change of clothes or beddings.  The women were so grateful to Operation Sunshine they danced with joy

and said “Indeed GOD is there.” for remembering them with beddings and clothing.

On behalf of all the Women at the UTH Mothers Shelter,  we are very grateful to you all at Operation Sunshine.

This particular container has kept us on our toes with crucial decisions needing to be made. Our amazing team in Zambia has faced delays in obtaining the tax-exempt license, which is essential for keeping the export of aid financially viable. Back in Capel-le-Ferne, we were overwhelmed with aid and had run out of space, so we decided to send the container, hoping the license would be approved before its arrival. Unfortunately, this did not work out, and Operation Sunshine had to cover the additional cost of the import tax on the container, which was a substantial amount of money.
