Goods  needed and accepted

 

• Clothing for men, women and children.

• Shoes for men, women and children.

• Wellingtons and working boots also needed.

• Please ensure all footwear is clean. We are unable to send muddy footwear.

• Shoe polish

• Blankets, duvets, pillows, towels, bedding and curtains.

• Soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitary towels, incontinence pads.

• Candles

• Mattresses (single only)

• Wool, knitting needles, material, sewing aids, sewing machines. We have an excellent mechanic if machines have small problems.

• Stationery for schools.(please ask before donating text books, these are not always acceptable)

• Bandages, dressings, antiseptic ointment, paracetamol.

• Folding Wheelchairs, crutches, walking sticks, zimmers.

• Stacking chairs.

• Large cooking pots, plates, bowls, cups (unbreakable) and tupperware style containers.

• Bibles modern versions only, daily prayer readings (even if out of date) and theological books.

• Buckets and plastic bowls.

• Bicycles

• Books.

• Please NO bric a brac, soft toys, videos or underwear.

• Garden tools Spades, Shovels, Forks and Pickaxes. No dutch hoes scarifying rakes or edging shears 

• If you are uncertain if items are acceptable then please ask the committee or just phone the office. We are always more than pleased to help with questions.

• If you have a large or heavy donation please call in advance so that a time and date can be arranged to receive it.
